About the course

What you’ll learn

Creative work is notoriously badly priced, usually because the person doing it counts only the hours they were visibly working. This course fixes that first: costing a commission properly, including design time, sourcing, fittings, revisions and the overhead of running a studio.
Sourcing is the second pillar — fabric and materials markets, supplier relationships, minimum orders and quality control — because margin is made or lost at purchase, not at sale.
The rest covers client management: briefs, deposits, revision limits, delivery timelines and what to do when a client changes their mind at the final fitting. You finish with a simple business structure, records and a marketing routine you can sustain.
