About the course

What you’ll learn

Interior styling is the discipline of making a space work before making it beautiful. You start with measurement, scale drawing and circulation — how people actually move through a room — then move into layout and furniture planning.
Colour, light and material follow, with attention to Kenyan light conditions and locally available finishes, so what you specify can actually be sourced. Small-space planning gets its own module, since that is what most urban clients need.
The course closes on client work: briefing, mood boards, sourcing within a stated budget, and presenting a scheme in a way a client can approve with confidence.
