About the course

What you’ll learn

Digital tools have changed how designs are developed and sold. This course covers the software side of a modern fashion practice, from digital illustration and technical flats through to 3D garment simulation.
You learn to build a garment digitally from a pattern, simulate it on an avatar, and iterate on fit and fabric drape without cutting a single metre of cloth — which saves both material and the time of a physical sample round.
The course also covers digital presentation: rendering a look, preparing images for a client or a buyer, and building a tech pack that a production unit can actually work from.
