About the course

What you’ll learn

Networking is infrastructure work: less visible than app development, consistently in demand, and well suited to steady employment rather than freelancing.
You build up from the physical layer — cabling, switches, routers — through addressing, subnetting and routing, to the services that sit on top: DHCP, DNS, VPN and wireless. Subnetting gets proper time, because it is the topic that most often blocks people in certification exams and in practice.
The final third is troubleshooting, taught as a method rather than a list of fixes: isolate the layer, test the assumption, work outward. You practise on deliberately broken configurations until diagnosis becomes systematic.
