About the course
What you’ll learn
Barbering is a distinct discipline from hairdressing, with its own tools, timing and clientele. This course builds clipper control from the ground up: guard work, open and closed lever, and the blending that turns three separate lengths into one clean gradient.
You work through the fade family — low, mid, high, skin, taper and burst — then move on to line-ups, beard shaping and razor finishing. Speed matters in a barbershop, so later assignments are timed: a fade that looks good but takes ninety minutes will not hold a chair.
Hygiene, blade sanitation and client communication run through the whole course, alongside the business side of chair rental and building a regular book.
