About the course

What you’ll learn

Most beauty professionals in Kenya are self-employed, which means the business skills are not optional extras — they are half the job.
The course begins with pricing, because underpricing is the single most common reason skilled practitioners struggle. You learn to cost a service properly: consumables, time, overhead and a wage for yourself, rather than guessing from what the salon down the road charges.
From there you build a brand and a marketing routine that fits around a full appointment book — content that takes minutes rather than hours, handling enquiries, and turning a following into bookings. The final module covers registration, record keeping, tax basics and separating business money from personal money.
